No Ice Cream maker necessary! And it is so creamy, it actually has a gelato-like consistency. I own an ice cream maker, but if I ever want a fruity frozen yogurt, I will use this technique instead, especially for single serving! I am going to try it with cocoa powder next and maybe bananas. If this works with bananas, I think the possibilities will be endless. You can morph the sweetness of bananas into anything. They are kind of like eggs in that regard. You can do SO much with them and change them into almost any flavor.
2 Ingredient Raspberry Frozen Yogurt:
1/2-3/4 cup frozen raspberries
1 single serving container vanilla greek yogurt
Combine ingredients in a food processor and blend until ingredients are thoroughly combined and achieve a gelato like consistency. You can add a little lemon zest for more flavor or some honey for more sweetness. The raspberries are really tart and vanilla greek yogurt isn’t super sweet, so this is a bit tart. I love frozen yogurt a bit tart though, it’s so refreshing. I guess I sort of cheated here and used 3 ingredients by putting dark chocolate pieces on the top, but it is SO good that way. The richness of the dark chocolate kind of calms the tanginess of the tart raspberry.
